Robin at the ChateauNoir.

Robin Oliver’s work grows out of a long line of painting drawn from direct work from Nature. Her starting point is in the landscape, where she brings her oil paints and portable easel each day to study the values and color relationships that only reveal themselves through careful contemplation. She is guided as much by the sense of touch as by the sense of sight and by intuition. Every day she looks for what Van Gogh calls “that which does not change in that which is ever-changing”, or the eternal.
